An Iris van Herpen Event

In 2017, we celebrated the fashion sense of our community with an event inspired by the otherworldly designs of Iris van Herpen, which we showcased in an exhibition that year. The event invited audiences to walk a runway, create miniature fashions with the Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse, and explore the exhibition, thinking through how designers use materials and textures to create new clothing.
