Hélio Oiticica: To Organize Delirium

We’re throwing back to our 2016 exhibition Hélio Oiticica: To Organize Delirium, the first comprehensive U.S. retrospective of the influential Brazilian artist. Watch this time-lapse of the CMOA team installing Eden, Oiticica’s ambitious work that filled our Hall of Sculpture. This huge work includes spaces designed to engage the senses and promote creative thought, tents for sleeping or listening to music, and beds filled with straw for relaxation or light reading. Because of its size, it is rarely presented.
