The Art Connection

They have potential. They have ideas. We provide the instruction, the inspiration, and the space to create.

Pittsburgh’s premiere art program for students in grades 5 through 9. Learn drawing, printmaking, painting, sculpture, and mixed media, culminating with a student exhibition at Carnegie Museum of Art. Active for more than 80 years, this combination of big ideas and practical know-how prepares young people for a world of visual information and creative problem-solving.


October 7–December 9, 2017 (no class November 25) and continuing January 6–March 3, 2018 – (18 Saturdays).

The Art Connection is organized by grade level. Students enroll in morning or afternoon classes:

  • Morning classes: 10:10 a.m.–12:40 p.m.
  • Afternoon classes: 1:10–3:40 p.m.

Winter Session Price: $150 (Members: $135). All materials are included.
