Youth Art Initiative

Do you want to make your voice heard? Apply to be a part of the Youth Art Initiative, the teen advisory group at Carnegie Museum of Art. As a member of the program, you’ll get access behind the scenes to create and shape new programs and events, work with museum staff on upcoming projects, and direct CMOA’s youth social media. All members of the Youth Art Initiative will receive free admission to the museum and free or discounted admission to events and other workshops.

We’re looking for teens with a wide range of interests and skills. If you’re interested in writing, public speaking, photography, design, event planning, music and more, we’re looking for you! No need to be an artist—just bring an open mind.

The Youth Art Initiative brings together 10–15 young people with wide-ranging experiences for conversations around art and the most important issues to youth today. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

This program will meet every Thursday starting October 3rd, 2019, 4–6 p.m.
