Story Saturdays
Develop a love of reading! Our gallery ambassadors read a story aloud in the galleries, help you find related artworks, and then lead an art-making activity inspired by the story. Check out upcoming Story Saturday events.
The Art Connection
Carnegie Museum of Art’s legacy of fostering creative inquiry and playful exploration continues as The Art Connection program enters its 94th year! Students in grades 5 through 9 can develop their own creative voices and visions with the help of our teaching artists and the works of art on view in the galleries. Registration is now open. Classes begin October 8.
Youth Artist Studio
Youth Artist Studio is a program for students in grades 10 through 12 to dedicate time to their art practice at the museum in a studio setting. Each Thursday evening, students will gather at the museum to explore their ideas and the social and cultural contexts of artworks and develop an artistic practice while honing their skills. Registration is now open. Classes begin October 13.
