Price: $10 (Members: $8; Students: $5)
This Third Thursday, celebrate the masters of tomorrow and connect with stories about the here and now!
New Stories
We will mark the relaunch of Storyboard, CMOA's online journal, with several engaging activities in our galleries:
-
- Screen print CMOA icons
- Write a six-word story inspired by artworks in the Carnegie International
- Participate in conversations that link art with contemporary issues
Storyboard's January issue, titled "Masters of Tomorrow," highlights artists in the 57th Carnegie International. Featured content includes an essay on the legacy of Kerry James Marshall, a video documenting the process of fabricating El Anatsui's sculpture Three Angles, and an in-depth interview with Dayanita Singh.
Film Screening
Attend the Pittsburgh premiere of Moundsville, a collaborative film project from local filmmaker David Bernabo and journalist John Miller. Documenting a town in transition, the film asks: how does a community survive when prosperity has gone?
Musical Journey
Vibe with DJ Buscrates.

About Storyboard
Storyboard is Carnegie Museum of Art's online journal. It offers a forum for critical thinking and provokes conversations about art, ideas, and the intersections between. We believe that art helps us better understand our lives, and that artists challenge us to view and experience the world in radically different ways. The maxim of the journal is simple: Stories that matter, artfully told.
