Tereneh Mosley: Globalization for Good

Fashion designer Tereneh Mosley champions a global view of fashion design. In this talk, she discusses her shared vision and collaborative process with the Maasai women of Kenya and their new fashion line released early this year. Mosley is founder of Idia'Dega: Elegant Ethical Apparel and Global Eco-Design Collaboration, which brings together environmentally sustainable practices with creative teams of indigenous community artisans as equal partners in process and design to create a global creative community.

Tereneh Mosley is founder of Idia'Dega: Elegant Ethical Apparel and Global Eco-Design Collaboration. She taught at Parsons–The New School for Design in New York City, and was a visiting scholar on global fashion at Yale–National University of Singapore. In 2014, her first collaborative collection, with OMWA: Olorgesailie Maasai Women Artisans of Kenya, premiered during Paris Fashion Week.
