Story Saturday: Home: A Tribute to the Many Possibilities of Home

Bruce Galleries

Free with museum admission

Join us in the Ailsa Mellon Bruce Decorative Arts and Design galleries for an in-person story time with curatorial assistant Alyssa Velazquez! This month we're reading Home: A Tribute to the Many Possibilities of Home by Carson Ellis followed by a making activity for children 12 and under led by teaching artist Jena Schieb.

This reading is made possible by Candlewick. To purchase past and present Story Saturday titles, checkout Carnegie Museum of Art Museum Store's online reading section.

About the Book
Home might be a house in the country, a flat in the city, or even a shoe. There are clean homes, messy homes, sea homes and bee homes. Home resides on the road or the sea, in the realm of myth, or in the artist's own studio. The possibilities of what a home looks and feels like are truly endless.
