About the Artists:

Sankofa Villiage For the Arts is a community-based cultural arts organization in Pittsburgh. Our programming consists of African arts specifically African drum, dance, martial arts, and a successful youth leadership program. Our goal is to make the world a better place through the arts.

Mostbeautifullest (aka The MoB) is a Black queer-women & femmes-led artist collective with a mission to create inclusive and intersectional experiences that center Black women, femmes, and the Black queer & trans community in Pittsburgh and beyond.

HUNY is DJ, photographer, and king of all trades soundtracking and producing Black femme and LGBTQ+ centered events via the event collective Mostbeautifullest. Bred in NYC and currently taking over Pittsburgh, PA, her sets are heavy on vogue beats, house, techno, and dancehall...but anything with a nasty beat, genre-aside, can get it, too.

XC-17/ALONNA comes from a family of musicians and producers. They grew up engulfed in the sound worlds of R&B, blues, and soul music; and producing for the past couple of years led to an organic foray into DJing. Alonna's definitive styles flow from these structural beginnings, and the variety of sounds and emotions and fluid musical gestures they create is always captivating and meaningful.
