In Conversation: Making and Motherhood

Online

Price: Pay What You Wish

Celebrate mothers and the maternal figures in your life with a discussion on making and motherhood. Join us for an evening with makers who are mothers and mothers who serve as creative directors for nonprofits, residence programs, and craft businesses in Pittsburgh. Learn how some of the region's leading advocates for the arts and art-making are designing motherhood to fit their creative practice and how being a mother has informed, inspired, and shaped their work. This Design in Conversation event is an invitation to look at making from the perspectives of mothers.

Speakers: Ashley Cecil (whose work appears in Locally Sourced), Julia Reynolds (Everything Ren), and Tricia Brancolini-Foley (Handmade Arcade).
