CMOA’s Search for the Real Art Cat

Do you live with the Real Art Cat? If so, your feline friend could be featured as the Real Art Cat at CMOA’s CATurday Summer Break on Saturday, June 10!

Art Cat, CMOA’s youth programs mascot, lives and works in the Children’s Studio at CMOA. Art Cat likes making art with students and listening to their stories and ideas. Now, Art Cat and CMOA are teaming up to find the real-life counterpart to our illustrated ambassador. Does your cat love to create? Does it love attention? Does it love to wear a beret? Let us know why your cat is the Real Art Cat! To enter the contest, provide the following information through our online entry form below:

  • Contact information (for you and your cat)
  • Media: At least one image of your cat. Video is optional.
  • Description: A short description of why your cat should be given the title of the Real Art Cat.

Only one (1) submission and one (1) cat will be permitted per participant. All submissions should be sent via the online form found through the link below. The deadline for entry is Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 5 p.m. You will receive an email confirmation of your submission.

The Grand Prize Winner will be awarded a family membership to the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, a prize bag from the CMOA Store, and your cat shall be given the title of “Real Art Cat.” In order to be eligible, you and your cat must be available to appear for meet-and-greet opportunities at CMOA on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at agreed upon times between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on that date.

Read the complete contest rules.
