Michael Williams’s paintings are known for their layered imagery, eye-popping color, and use of techniques such as airbrushing and inkjet printing. He often begins by creating a drawing on paper or on the computer and then, after transferring it to canvas, layering and embellishing it with oil paint. In 2017, we presented the artist’s first solo US museum exhibition.
