Our treasured annual exhibitions, The Neapolitan Presepio and Carnegie Trees run from November 20 through January 10! The Neapolitan Presepio, a favorite tradition for many since 1957 will be on display in a new home, the Scaife galleries. The Carnegie Trees, which are commemorating 60 years, will be showcased in the Hall of Architecture. This year’s theme, BEDAZZLED, celebrates the trees’ diamond anniversary.
Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays stop by the Neapolitan Presepio for an Art Chat! During these discussions led by our docents, you’ll take a closer look at the exhibition through the eyes of Neapolitan artisans and collectors. Learn more about Art Chats.
In addition to Art Chats, visitors can get a closer look at the art by booking a Date with a Docent. Led by one of the museum’s esteemed docents, a Date with a Docent is a one-on-one or small-group mini-tour offering visitors an in-depth look at a specific area of our collection, exhibitions, or architecture. Date with a Docent is offered on Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. and at 10:30 and 11 a.m. on Saturday mornings. Book your date today!
