Parking

Parking is available in the lot behind the museum and accessible from the intersection of Forbes Avenue and South Craig Street. Parking pay stations are located near the main entrance and near the Portal Entry. Cash and credit cards are accepted at pay stations, and credit cards only are accepted at the parking lot exit lanes. Park your bicycle in the rack in front of the main entrance or on level 5 of the parking garage.

Shopping

The CMOA Store offers an eclectic mix of gifts, jewelry, books, clothing, crafts, and foods from Pittsburgh and around the world.

Dining

Fossil Fuels Café, featuring family-friendly fare, is open during most regular museum hours.The Café Carnegie, featuring a seasonal menu from executive consulting chef Sonja Finn (Dinette), will open in late 2016.

Rest Rooms

Accessible restrooms are indicated by signs and located on all floors. Please refer to the museum map for their locations or download and print the Visitor Guide & Map (PDF). Stop by any information desk and a Visitor Services representative can direct you.

Coatrooms/Lockers

Coat rooms are available at the Courtyard entrance and the lower level of the Grand Staircase. Paid lockers are available on the lower level.

Wheelchairs

Standard, manual wheelchairs are available free of charge at museum coat rooms. We also welcome your personal manual or motorized wheelchairs, walkers, or scooters. The museum’s dining areas, gift shops, and restrooms are wheelchair accessible. Learn more about services and accessibility.

Strollers

We encourage the use of strollers throughout our building (although from time to time there are certain areas where we might need to restrict their use, on account of small spaces, especially fragile art, or other circumstances). We provide strollers, or you’re welcome to bring your own.

Wireless Access

We offer free wireless access throughout our galleries and grounds. During your visit, we encourage you to switch to WiFi (DQE – Carnegie Museums WiFi) for faster download speeds. Complimentary WiFi is provided by DQE Communications.
