Pittsburgh’s premiere art program for young people in grades 5 to 9. Learn drawing, printmaking, painting, sculpture, and digital tools, culminating with an exhibition at Carnegie Museum of Art. Active for more than 80 years, this combination of big ideas and practical know-how prepares young people for a world of visual information, problem-solving, and managing complex projects. The 18-week course is split into two 9-week semesters.


  • Fall semester: October 8 through December 10, 2016 (No class November 26)
  • Winter semester: January 7 through March 4, 2017

Fee: $300, Members $270

Scholarships are available. Apply before July 13 to ensure consideration in the program.
