Inspired by the museum’s world-class collections, students explore the creative process, develop their artistic skills, and experiment with art materials. Themes and projects are designed to suit each student’s level and build sequentially over time. The supportive environment of the Children’s Studio encourages participants to connect with other home-schooled students in classes that meet many PA Academic Standards.

Ages 11–16: Multimedia Artists
Contemporary artists are often multidisciplinary, working in painting, sculpture, or photography for various projects. Visit Life on Mars for inspiration and develop your voice as critic and artist experimenting with a range of materials.
