Visual and performing arts come together and YOU are the puppet master and designer! Inspired by art in the museum, create your own story—crafting puppets, scenery, and props for your very own puppet show!

Ages 5–7: Make New Friends
Sat., Feb. 21–Mar. 14
Get to know people from the past in museum paintings, and imagine what they might do and talk about together. The fun begins as you capture those cool ideas in drawings and mixed-media paintings.

Ages 8–10: Sculpture Excursion: Think 3-D!
Sat., Jan. 17–Feb. 7
Capture your impressions of sculptures—of people, animals, or even abstract shapes—in your sketchbook and learn to translate your drawings into three-dimensional forms in clay, wire, and papier-mâché.

Ages 8–10: Printmaking: Making a Good Impression
Sat., Feb. 21–Mar. 14
Printmaking possibilities are endless! Discover the many techniques and styles of well-known artists, and learn how to make unique prints with ink and paint on a variety of surfaces.

Immerse yourself in art in the museum’s galleries and studios, and connect with other creative kids your age. Have fun as you build skills in drawing, painting, and sculpture, and take on the challenge of new ideas and materials. Show your artwork in the annual spring exhibition.
